Andrea's Success Story

Told by two other law firms the case was impossible - but we nailed it

Christchurch District Court

Andrea was a successful real estate agent who lost her driver’s licence due to excess demerit points. A solicitor and two Limited Licence companies had told her she wouldn’t be able to get a work licence because she earned too much – but we were able to build a strong case and got her application approved by the Judge quickly and easily, no questions asked.

Andrea’s story

This was my first time applying for a Limited Licence.

Before hiring NZ Limited Licence, I spoke to three other people – a solicitor and three other limited licence experts.

The main reason I chose NZ Limited Licence was that Guy was a lot more confident than the others that we could make it work. I earn quite a high income, and the other three organisations said that because of that I wouldn’t be granted a Limited Licence, because it meant I could afford to hire a driver.

Guy didn’t agree. His approach was far more logical, and he had the practical knowledge to show me how to position my application and affidavit in ways that would support my case in court.  That confidence was so reassuring.

They were fast, economical and efficient…

I had a few phone calls with Guy throughout the process, which really helped.

During those calls, I could ask any questions, and I was able to confirm what was going on with my application, and felt reassured that I was making the right decisions. Every court in New Zealand is different with how they process limited licences, and having Guy’s knowledge about that was very helpful.

To create my application, Guy and Amy asked me a lot of specific questions, sent me a draft, then I requested a couple of changes.

I would describe the process as efficient, easy and economical. A solicitor quoted me $2500 whereas this was $1300 all up once all the different court costs (specifically, $250 + $39 NZTA) were paid.

I would definitely recommend NZ Limited Licence.
